Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 6 apples, cored, peeled, and cut into small chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13 x 9-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and oil; mix well.
  3. Add salt, flour, cinnamon, and baking soda; stir until smooth.
  4. Fold in chopped nuts (if using) and apple chunks.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
