Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 (7 oz.) cans clams, chopped or minced
  • 15 to 18 crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Saute diced onion in butter until transparent.
  2. Remove from heat and add one can of chopped clams, with its liquid from the other can drained.
  3. Stir in crushed Ritz crackers, garlic powder, parsley flakes, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce (if using), and sour cream (if using).
  4. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 25 minutes.
  5. Serve on seasoned crackers or rye bread thins.
