Ingredients

  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Bring the beef consomme, French onion soup, butter, and undrained mushrooms to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan.
  2. Add the long grain rice to the boiling mixture, allow it to return to a boil, then cover the saucepan.
  3. Turn off the heat and let the rice sit, covered, for 20 minutes.
