Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups chopped strawberries
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. In one bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  2. In a second bowl, combine sugar, chopped strawberries, eggs, oil, and chopped nuts.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Grease and flour two large loaf pans.
  5. Fill each pan two-thirds full with the batter.
  6. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
