Ingredients

  • 25 to 30 mushrooms (medium to large size)
  • 1/2 lb. breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup minced water chestnuts
  • 1/2 cup minced green onions
  • 1 small can shrimp (broken pieces)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • ground pepper
  • chopped mushroom stems
  • sesame seed

Instructions

  1. Brush the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  2. Mix all ingredients together including chopped mushroom stems and seasonings.
  3. Stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture and coat with a little melted butter.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes or until done.
  5. Serve warm.
