Creamy and cheesy, Lovetta's Potatoes combine hash browns, sour cream, and cheddar for a comforting dish perfect for family dinners and potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hash browns, thawed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • Italian bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté chopped onion in butter until translucent.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine hash browns, sour cream, shredded cheddar, cream of chicken soup, and sautéed onions.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle Italian bread crumbs evenly on top.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
