Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/3 cup dried milk or 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 teaspoon dry onion or 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or salt
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix ground chuck, dried milk or tomato juice, chopped onion, pepper, sage, garlic powder or salt, and Worcestershire sauce well.
  2. Shape into a loaf and bake at 350°F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  3. Pour off excess fat after baking.
