Ingredients

  • 6 green onions
  • 2 green peppers
  • 3 tomatoes or 1 large can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 large stalk celery
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1 to 2 cans V-8 juice

Instructions

  1. Chop the green onions, green peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, and celery.
  2. Combine the chopped vegetables with onion soup mix and water in a large pot.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover, lower the heat, and simmer until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Add the canned vegetables and V-8 juice to the pot.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and bouillon to taste.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy.
