Ingredients

  • 21 oz. can lite apple pie filling or 5 apples, cut up
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 packets NutraSweet (optional, if reducing sugar)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon NutraSweet (optional, if reducing sugar)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix together the apple filling, water, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. In another mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients: brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and dry Butter Buds mix.
  4. Fold the dry mixture into the apple filling mixture until well combined.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a square baking dish that has been sprayed with nonfat cooking spray.
