Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. fresh tomato, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped green chilies
  • 1 can plum tomatoes
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 c. chopped Italian parsley
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. jalapeno
  • 1 tsp. onion powder

Instructions

  1. Mix all the chopped vegetables, fresh tomatoes, green chilies, and jalapenos in a bowl.
  2. Add lime juice, vinegar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper; stir well.
  3. Refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Drain excess liquid if the salsa becomes too watery before serving.
