Ingredients

  • 4 baking potatoes
  • sharp cheese, grated
  • salt
  • butter
  • paprika
  • flour
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly.
  3. Layer the sliced potatoes in the prepared dish, then sprinkle 1 tablespoon of flour over the layer.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dot with butter.
  5. Add a layer of grated sharp cheese on top.
  6. Repeat layering the potatoes, cheese, and seasoning as needed.
  7. Pour milk over the assembled layers to cover the casserole.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour until bubbly and golden.
