Ingredients

  • 8 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 Tbsp dark rum
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cup finely chopped macadamia nuts
  • confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter until smooth.
  2. Add flour, dark rum, vanilla, and salt; mix well.
  3. Add finely chopped macadamia nuts and combine.
  4. Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Roll the chilled dough into balls.
  6. Bake at 300°F for 35 minutes.
  7. Roll the baked cookies in confectioners sugar.
