Ingredients

  • 1/2 head red leaf lettuce
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained and chilled
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced into rings
  • 1/2 to 1 cup walnut halves
  • 1 small carton fresh mushrooms, sliced

Instructions

  1. Mix the red leaf lettuce, iceberg lettuce, mandarin oranges, red onion rings, and green bell pepper rings in a large bowl.
  2. Add sliced fresh mushrooms and avocado to the salad mixture.
  3. Toss the salad with dressing just before serving.
  4. Top the salad with walnut halves before serving.
