- Remove the packet of seasoning from the ramen noodles and mix it with sugar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Set aside.
- Crumble the ramen noodles and bake with sliced almonds at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- In a large bowl, toss together chopped romaine lettuce and chopped celery.
- Add the baked noodles, toasted almonds, mandarin oranges, and the liquid mixture to the salad.
- Toss gently to combine and serve immediately.
