Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1 (16 oz) can baked beans in tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) can Great Northern beans undrained
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp molasses
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain any excess fat.
  2. Combine the cooked beef with the baked beans, Great Northern beans, chopped onion, brown sugar, salt, dry mustard, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, ketchup, and crumbled bacon in a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish.
  3. Place the casserole in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake uncovered for 55 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, top with additional bacon if desired, and stir in.
  5. Bake for an additional 5 minutes to heat through and meld flavors.
