Ingredients
- 3/4 lb ground beef ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz) can baked beans in tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1 (15 oz) can Great Northern beans undrained ⓘ
- 1 medium onion finely chopped ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp salt ⓘ
- 1 tsp dry mustard ⓘ
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp molasses ⓘ
- 1/2 cup ketchup ⓘ
- 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain any excess fat.
- Combine the cooked beef with the baked beans, Great Northern beans, chopped onion, brown sugar, salt, dry mustard, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, ketchup, and crumbled bacon in a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish.
- Place the casserole in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake uncovered for 55 minutes.
- Remove from oven, top with additional bacon if desired, and stir in.
- Bake for an additional 5 minutes to heat through and meld flavors.
