Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 egg whites

Instructions
