Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 3 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 squares (2 oz.) unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, cocoa, confectioners sugar, and melted margarine; press firmly on the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixer bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy.
  4. Gradually beat in the condensed milk until smooth.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Pour half of the batter evenly over the crust.
  6. Stir melted baking chocolate into the remaining batter; spoon over the vanilla batter in the pan.
  7. Gently swirl through the batter with a table knife to create a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until set.
  9. Allow to cool, then chill before cutting into bars.
