Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small package chocolate chip bits
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix yellow cake mix, brown sugar, oil, water, and eggs together until well combined.
  2. Pour the batter into a 9 x 13-inch ungreased baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped nuts evenly over the batter.
  4. Bake at 325°F for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and cut with a knife to create a marbled pattern.
  6. Continue baking for an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Allow the dessert to cool completely, then cut into bars and serve.
