Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, cut into 2-inch squares
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • fresh basil to garnish
  • bagel chips or crackers to serve

Instructions

  1. Place cheese in a single layer in a 10 x 15-inch jellyroll pan.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, chopped parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed oregano leaves, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the oil mixture over the cheese.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend, turning slices occasionally.
  5. Arrange the marinated cheese on a serving plate.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil.
  7. Serve with bagel chips or crackers.
