Ma'S Meatballs

Juicy, flavorful meatballs seasoned with herbs, perfect for hearty meals. Great for family dinners, served with pasta or in a rich sauce for comforting bites.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 8 slices bread
  • parsley to taste
  • oregano to taste
  • 1 egg
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 1/2 to 1 cup milk
  • shortening or oil

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except bread into a large bowl.
  2. Dip bread slices into milk, squeeze out excess, and crumble into the meat mixture.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly to combine.
  4. Shape the mixture into balls of desired size.
  5. Fry the meatballs in a skillet with shortening or oil until brown all around.
  6. Place cooked meatballs into sauce and simmer for 4 to 5 hours.
  7. Serve with noodles or spaghetti. Alternatively, cook in a crock-pot.
