Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. uncooked macaroni
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 can tomatoes

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, fry the sausage until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Add chopped onions and green peppers; cook slowly for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in canned tomatoes, sour cream, uncooked macaroni, chili powder, salt, and sugar.
  5. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently until the macaroni is cooked.
  6. Serve hot.
