Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 package small instant vanilla pudding
  • 3/4 cup Wesson oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sherry wine
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Beat the cake batter for 10 minutes until smooth.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Remove the cake from the oven while hot, prick it with a meat fork all over.
  5. Prepare the glaze by mixing 2 cups of sugar with 1/2 cup of sherry.
  6. Pour the glaze over the hot cake, allowing it to soak in.
