Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 medium round onion
  • 2 bunches green onions
  • 2 packages Hula Brand chow fun noodles
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 package bean sprouts
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Fill a 6-quart pot half full with water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of oil to the boiling water.
  3. Add the chow fun noodles and cook until soft.
  4. Drain the noodles in a colander and set aside.
  5. Dice the round onion and cut the green onions into 1 1/2-inch lengths.
  6. Brown the ground pork in an oiled 6-quart pot.
  7. Add the diced onion to the pork and cook briefly.
  8. Add one-third of the noodles, bean sprouts, green onions, salt, and pepper to the pot and stir.
  9. Repeat adding the remaining ingredients in one-third portions, stirring after each addition.
  10. Cook until the desired consistency is reached, usually shortly after adding the last batch.
