Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. grated onion
  • dash of pepper
  • 2/3 c. grated carrots
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. Dissolve lemon jello and salt in hot water.
  2. Add vinegar, grated onion, and pepper.
  3. Chill until slightly thickened.
  4. Fold in grated carrots, chopped green pepper, and nuts if using.
  5. Chill until firm before serving.
