Ingredients

  • 2/3 stick margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. cumin
  • 2 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the flour, paprika, cumin, dry mustard, and chili powder to the melted margarine and stir until the spices are well incorporated.
  3. Gradually add a small amount of milk, stirring constantly to dissolve the spices and create a smooth mixture.
  4. Pour in the remaining milk and continue stirring until the mixture is well combined and heated through.
  5. Add the Velveeta cheese and stir until melted and the dip has thickened.
  6. Cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally, until the dip reaches the desired consistency.
