Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped canned chili peppers
  • assorted crackers

Instructions

  1. Bring the shredded Cheddar cheese to room temperature.
  2. Heat the milk until boiling; then pour it over the cheese in a mixing bowl.
  3. Beat with an electric mixer until nearly smooth.
  4. Add the butter and minced garlic; beat well.
  5. Stir in the chopped canned chili peppers.
  6. Chill the mixture well.
  7. Serve the spread with assorted crackers.
