Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 3 (8 oz.) packages refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef and onion soup mix in a skillet; cook until browned over medium-high heat.
  2. Drain off excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Stir grated Cheddar cheese into the beef mixture; set aside to cool slightly.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Roll out the crescent dough on a flat surface.
  6. Cut each of the three packages of crescent rolls in half to make 16 triangles.
  7. Place a heaping teaspoonful of the meat mixture on each triangle and roll to enclose the filling.
  8. Place each roll on an ungreased cookie sheet, tucking the point of the dough underneath.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm or let cool, then freeze for later use.
  11. To reheat after freezing, warm in a preheated 325°F (160°C) oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
