Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 7 oz. can mushrooms with juice
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 can consomme
  • 2 c. egg noodles
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 c. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Saute onion and garlic in margarine until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and brown it thoroughly. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in mushrooms with juice, lemon juice, consomme, salt, and pepper. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
  4. Add uncooked egg noodles and stir to combine.
  5. Cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes until noodles are tender.
  6. Before serving, stir in sour cream and heat through.
