Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • TexJoy steak seasoning
  • 6 to 10 Saltine crackers
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 to 2 packages McCormick Onion gravy mix

Instructions

  1. Place ground chuck in a bowl, season with TexJoy steak seasoning.
  2. Crush Saltine crackers finely and add to the meat mixture.
  3. Add chopped onion and slightly beaten egg to the mixture.
  4. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
  5. Drop meatballs into a medium-hot skillet that has been sprayed with Pam.
  6. Brown the meatballs lightly on all sides, taking care not to stir too much to prevent falling apart.
  7. Drain excess grease if necessary, leaving a small amount in the skillet for flavor.
  8. Prepare onion gravy mix according to package instructions and serve over the meatballs.
