Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1 lb. ground beef

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry onion soup mix with water and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Put 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce into a cup.
  3. Add garlic salt, thyme, pepper, oregano, and parsley to the tomato sauce and mix well.
  4. Combine the onion soup mixture with ground beef and blend well.
  5. Shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them in a casserole dish.
  6. Pour the remaining soup mixture over the meatballs.
  7. Cook in the oven at 350°F for one hour.
  8. Serve the meatballs and sauce over plain or spiced rice.
