Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 onions
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 4 potatoes
  • dash of hot sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 cans water

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and onions in a large pot.
  2. Drain excess fat from the meat and onions.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients to the pot, including pinto beans, tomatoes, chopped potatoes, hot sauce, salt, pepper, water, and paprika.
  4. Simmer the mixture for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve hot with sides of cornbread and cabbage.
