Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups reduced fat liquid butter mix
  • 1 teaspoon crushed oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon lite salt
  • 2 pounds medium-large shrimp in the shell
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven or large pot.
  2. Toss well to coat the shrimp evenly.
  3. Set aside for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Place the pot over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Stir, cover, and cook for 5 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.
