Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. onions, chopped fine
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 pt. shrimp
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Mexene seasoning
  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. tomato catsup
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and cook chopped onions until tender; stir in shrimp and let brown.
  2. Stir in Mexene seasoning, flour, salt, and gradually add milk.
  3. Cook about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Stir in tomato catsup, bay leaf, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Let steam a few minutes and serve hot over boiled rice.
