Ingredients

  • 1/2 head cabbage, coarsely shredded
  • 1 onion, cut in half and sliced thin
  • 1 red or green pepper, cut in thin strips
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 strip thick cut bacon, chopped in 1/2-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. Toss together in a microwave-safe bowl all the ingredients except bacon.
  2. Top with chopped bacon.
  3. Cover tightly with plastic wrap; prick several holes in the top.
  4. Cook on High power for 15 minutes, rotating twice during cooking.
  5. Uncover carefully and toss lightly before serving.
