Microwave Cornbread(For Summertime Baking - Cool)

Ingredients

  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Beat together egg, milk and cooking oil.
  2. Combine dry ingredients and beat next 3. Add and mix.
  3. Grease loaf pan and microwave on Medium 9 to 11 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Serves 6.
