Microwave Fruitcake

- Cream butter,
- sugar
- and
- corn syrup. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating continually.
- Blend flour, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, allspice
- and cinnamon until smooth.
- Stir in brandy. Fold in cherries
- and
- nuts.
- Pour into 12 cup Bundt pan (very lightly greased).
- Microwave on High for 18 minutes, rotating a quarter turn every 4 minutes.
- Rest 15 to 20 minutes before loosening. Invert from pan.
- Glaze if desired.
