Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Crumble the ground beef in a plastic colander.
  2. Add chopped onion to the beef.
  3. Microwave on High for 6 to 7 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  4. Drain excess fat from the beef mixture.
  5. Add tomato soup, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  6. Microwave on High for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. Drop mashed potatoes in mounds around the edge of the bowl.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the potatoes.
  9. Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes until cheese melts.
  10. Let set for 5 minutes before serving.
