Ingredients

  • 2 lb. sirloin steak
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2/3 cup salad oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. m.s.g.
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 dashes gake (white wine)
  • 3 medium onions
  • 3 green peppers
  • 1 box cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Cut the sirloin steak into cubes.
  2. Mix soy sauce, salad oil, sugar, lemon juice, m.s.g., crushed garlic, and gake in a bowl to make the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the meat and let stand for 1 to 2 hours.
  4. Cut the onions and green peppers into pieces.
  5. Thread cherry tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and steak onto bamboo skewers, alternating ingredients.
  6. Cook 3 minutes for each set of 6 skewers in the microwave.
  7. Turn skewers halfway through cooking and baste with the marinade sauce.
  8. Ensure not to overcook the kabobs.
