Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • pinch of cloves
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. raisins, soaked in 1/2 c. hot stock
  • 1/2 c. green olives

Instructions

  1. Brown and drain the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Add chopped onion, canned tomatoes, crushed garlic, vinegar, olive oil, ground cinnamon, a pinch of cloves, and salt to the beef.
  3. Stir in the soaked raisins and green olives.
  4. Simmer the mixture for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
