Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Put dry ingredients in large mixing bowl; add vanilla, water, and mayonnaise.
  2. Beat for 3 minutes at medium speed.
  3. Grease and flour the pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
