Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Blend egg yolks, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and mix in a little of the milk to combine.
  4. Pour in the remaining milk and vanilla, then blend until smooth.
