Ingredients

  • 5 lb. beef or venison
  • 5 lb. apples
  • 2 lb. raisins
  • 2 oranges
  • 3 c. brown sugar
  • a little salt
  • 6 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. cloves

Instructions

  1. Put the meat through a grinder and dice the apples.
  2. Cook the apples until soft, then add the remaining ingredients.
  3. Cook the mixture in wine or cider.
  4. Can or freeze the finished mince meat for storage.
