Ingredients

  • 24 slices white bread
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Trim crust from bread slices and flatten them with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix softened cream cheese, egg yolks, and 1/2 cup sugar until well combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each bread slice.
  4. Roll each slice of bread like a jelly roll to enclose the filling.
  5. Dip each rolled bread into melted butter, then roll in a mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  6. Place the coated rolls on a cookie sheet and freeze until firm.
