Mini Fried Pizza

Ingredients

  • for pizza
  • 1 teaspoon dry active yeast
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/3 cup warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups oil (for frying)
  • pizza sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 425 g whole tomatoes, can

Instructions

  1. In a measuring cup or small bowl, dissolve sugar& yeast in water.Wait for 10 minutes or until it gets all foamy.
  2. Combine flour, and salt in a large bowl and make a well in the center.
  3. pour the yeast and the olive oil.
  4. Knead for 6-8 minutes until you have a moderately stiff dough that is smooth and elastic (add a bit more flour if you need to).
  5. put the dough in greasy bowl; Cover and let rest for 1 houre.
  6. divide the dough into 16 ball.
  7. pat each dough with your hand.
  8. fry each pizza in a deep oil until become brown.
  9. Add the sauce in top of each pizza.
  10. Sprinkle with cheese, Bake 350 degrees F.
  11. for sauce:
  12. crush the tomato.
  13. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  14. Cook over medium heat until sauce starts to boil.
  15. Lower heat and simmer, covered,for 30 to 45 minutes or until it is as thick as you like it.
