Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Combine softened cream cheese, egg, sugar, and salt; mix well.
  2. Blend in chocolate chips; set aside.
  3. Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt.
  4. Stir in water, oil, and vanilla.
  5. Line miniature cupcake pans with paper liners.
  6. Fill each cup one-third full with cocoa mixture.
  7. Top with one teaspoon of cheese mixture.
