Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. flaked coconut
  • 1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 (13 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 6 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/3 c. cocoa

Instructions

  1. Beat butter or margarine until creamy in a large bowl with an electric mixer at medium-high speed.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Add coconut, sugar, flour, cocoa, vanilla, and walnuts.
  4. Don't beat; the batter will be heavy.
  5. Spread batter in a greased (9 x 13 x 2-inch) pan.
  6. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes.
  7. As soon as the cake is taken from the oven, spread Marshmallow Creme over the hot cake.
  8. Cool for 20 minutes.
