Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1/2 c. Domino granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 c. hot strong coffee
  • 2 c. scalded milk
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Combine cornstarch and water in the top of a double boiler.
  2. Add sugar, cinnamon, chocolate, and hot coffee to the mixture.
  3. Cook over boiling water until thickened.
  4. Add scalded milk to the mixture.
  5. Heat for 15 minutes while stirring often, then chill.
  6. Top with whipped cream before serving cold.
