Ingredients

  • 1 c. molasses
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Combine molasses, warm water, butter, cinnamon, salt, and vinegar in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer together for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve warm over apples, rice pudding, or hot oatmeal.
