Ingredients

  • 2 lb. mincemeat
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 2 c. raisins
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. butter, melted
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 4 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in the order given in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the batter into a tube pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 2 1/2 to 3 hours on the top rack of the oven.
