Ingredients

  • 1 large stewing hen
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 2 very large onions
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of peanut oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Chop the large onions into small pieces.
  3. Add the onions to the pan and cook until they are slightly soft.
  4. Prepare the chicken by seasoning each piece with salt and paprika.
  5. Place the chicken pieces skin side down on top of the onions in the pan.
  6. Lower the heat to a simmer and cook until the chicken is tender.
